COTTAGE

Lime Blossom cottage is actually two grade 2 listed Georgian cottages joined together to make a lovely holiday home.

An end of terrace two storey house comprising of a large kitchen diner with separate utility room and W C. A cozy living room through to a well stocked library and sun filled garden room. A double-sided wood burner ensures it is always warm. The house has double glazing on all the front windows and there is a front garden that has mature planting that shields the house from the road.

Upstairs there are three double bedrooms, two with double beds, one with two singles. There’s also a large bathroom and separate shower room. The whole house is comfortably decorated in an eclectic mix of antique and mid-century modern.  Its equally suitable for a couple, family or for friends to share – in total the house sleeps 6 persons.  As this is an old cottage, the stairs are a little steep and may not suit those with mobility problems.

There is private parking at the back of the long windy garden, which has been landscaped by Laura Arison an RHS gold winning designer. It boasts a patio seating area, wild planting, numerous out houses, summer house and sun terraces as well as the lime tree, which gives the cottage its name.  The house is less than 10 mins from Southwold, and only 5 mins from the unspoilt Covehithe beach.
