Lime Tree Cottage is perfectly situated for exploring the surrounding area…

Wrentham is a village just off the A12 London/Lowestoft Road and is conveniently situated within easy access to the quaint Suffolk seaside resort of Southwold, the market town of Beccles and the beautiful beach of Covehithe. Its history stretches back to Saxon Times. Its perfectly placed for exploring the beautiful area and beaches. There is a convenience/post office shop a few doors away from the cottage, which is handy for everyday basics and a newly opened Black Dog Deli, a 5 min walk away, selling bread, pizzas and serving lunch daily.   There are also 2 local pubs that serve food and drink.  The cottage benefits from a designated car park space.

The closest beach is the lovely and unspoilt Covehithe beach which is about  5 mins by car 1.5 miles/2.4km or a 35 min walk away. Covehithe is a sandy beach and is the closest you get to a desert island beach.  there are no cafes or shops, but a lovely church St Andrews  and hence is very untouristy.  there is a 10 min walk on a made path through some cliff top woodland before you can drop down to the beach.  one of the secret beaches of suffolk.   You can sometimes see seals swimming in the sea too.
